INTEREUROPA, d.d., Koper

Successful operations of the Intereuropa Group in 2022

Pursuant to the provisions of the Rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange and valid legislation, Intereuropa, d. d. hereby publishes the following announcement:

Koper, 9 March 2023 At today’s session, the Supervisory Board was briefed on unaudited information regarding the business results of the Intereuropa Group in 2022. The year 2022 was characterised by significantly increased uncertainty in the international environment in connection with the war in Ukraine, tightening conditions on the energy markets and rising prices. Nevertheless, the Intereuropa Group was successful during the 2022 financial year, as it generated the highest operating profit (EBIT) in the last ten years.

Based on unaudited figures, the Intereuropa Group generated EUR 200.4 million in sales revenue, an increase of 13% relative to 2021 and 15% above planned sales revenue. The EBITDA generated by the Group in the amount of EUR 15.1 million was up by 9% relative to the same period in 2021 and 10% higher than planned. Operating profit (EBIT) amounted to EUR 8.2 million in 2022, an increase of 12% relative to 2021 and 16% higher than planned.

The Intereuropa Group generated a net profit of EUR 5.1 million in 2022, a decrease of EUR 1.5 million relative to the previous financial year and EUR 0.3 million less than planned. That lag is further impacted by an increase in expenses for current and deferred income taxes. Current and deferred taxes amounted to EUR 1.9 million in 2022, an increase of EUR 1.3 million relative to the previous financial year and EUR 0.9 million higher than planned. Higher corporate income tax at the parent company was the result of lower operating results in projections of future operations.

The Group’s net debt amounted to EUR 42.5 million at the end of 2022, an increase of EUR 6.8 million relative to the end of the previous financial year.

In 2023, the Intereuropa Group will continue to provide comprehensive logistics services in the areas of land, sea and air freight transport, warehousing and distribution, as well as customs and other logistics services. As the logistics operator for numerous domestic and international companies, the Group will continue to focus in the future on the flow of goods via its network of thirteen companies in nine countries, and facilitate the smooth functioning of supply chains.

This announcement will be published on SEOnet and on the website of Intereuropa at www.intereuropa.net for a minimum of 5 (five) years from the date of publication.
